Egypt Hydrocarbon Corporation

Egypt Hydrocarbon Corporation (EHC) is the industrial and mining explosives division of Carbon Holdings, established in 2011. EHC operates Egypt's leading Low Density Ammonium Nitrate (LDAN) facility - the first world-scale LDAN facility in the Middle East and Africa, strategically located in Ain Sukhna on the Red Sea south of the Suez Canal. The facility has capacity to produce 350,000 metric tons of LDAN and 300,000 metric tons of Nitric Acid annually. EHC is expanding with a new $550 million ammonia plant.
