Egyptian Chemical Industries

Egyptian Chemical Industries (KIMA) is an Egyptian chemical producer incorporated in 1956 to produce nitrogenous fertilizer for the Southern Valley using electro-hydraulic power from the Aswan Dam. Production commenced in 1960 with daily capacity of 600 tons of ammonia. KIMA has approximately 3,000 employees.
