Krastsvetmet (Gulidov Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant), founded in 1943, is the largest gold and platinum refinery in Russia and the world's biggest producer of refined platinum group metals (platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, ruthenium, osmium). The company produces 250 metric tons of gold and 1,000 metric tons of silver yearly (60%+ of Russian production), refines 90% of Russia's platinum and palladium, and manufactures catalytic systems, glass-melting devices, and thermoelectrode wire for the chemical industry.
