Ministry of Industry and Minerals

The Ministry of Industry and Minerals is a central government ministry of Iraq responsible for industrial development and mineral exploration and extraction. The ministry oversees Iraq's fertilizer sector including the State Company for Fertilizers and recent projects like the $2 billion integrated phosphate fertilizer complex in Anbar with capacity for 500,000 tonnes of TSP and 1 million tonnes of DAP annually, developed with East China Engineering Science and Technology Co.
