Misr Phosphate Company established in 2009 is the largest phosphate ore producer in Egypt with capacity of 5 million tons/year. Shareholders include National Investment Bank, EMRA, EGPC and GANOPE. Operates Abu Tartour (50km west of El Kharga), El Sebaia and Red Sea Mines producing various phosphate grades.
