SOMIPHOS (Société des Mines de Phosphates) was created in 2005 following reorganization of FERPHOS. 100% public capital held by MANAL group, based in Tébessa (Eastern Algeria). State sole producer of phosphate rock in Algeria, operating Djebel Onk mine with 1.6 million tonnes/year capacity.
